Dinosaurs Will stay as bones
The days of the dinosaurs has passed. All that remains of the magnificent beasts that once frequented the Earth are the scattered fossils that represent only a fraction of the populations that used to be in abundance. While dinosaurs are still alive within modern culture, in museums and fictional tales, their revival seems very unlikely.
Firstly, the resources needed to support such a return wouldn’t be met. With all the deforestation and lack of natural habitat in today’s society, their basic requirements would not be met. In addition to lack of habitat and a food source, the dinosaurs would also be faced with a wildly swinging climate, a factor that was a catalyst of their initial extinction.
Secondly, despite their reptilian nature, dinos are most closely related to the modern-day chicken. For a chicken to evolve back into a dinosaur would be illogical. In today’s day and age, a creature such as a bird or other, smaller, relative to the dinosaurs would be more fitted to the environment, as they have already evolved into a more ideal species.
Lastly, a revival from fossil remains would be improbable. Unlike in Jurassic Park, there simply isn’t enough DNA to be distracted and manipulated into a living creature. For the DNA of a relative to mutate back into a dinosaur would also be unlikely, as the mutations need to change an organism such as a chicken into a dinosaur would not survive and be passed down, as they are unfit for today’s environment.
